THANK Ute!!!

I have been trying to think of way to say Thank You to all those who have supported us. This has been a pretty exciting adventure. So this is going to be a pretty long post.

Thank you to our parents
This never would have been possible with out you!! You have supported us in every way possible that we will never be able to say thank you enough. Just believing in us got us here today. Thank you!!!

Thank you to our siblings
Wow do we have great brothers and sisters. Michele and Cody drove to Colorado and Vegas just to come watch Joe. Jared and Angie and Amanda and Beau drove to Colorado too. Coming to the Colorado game was a huge sacrifice just because of how stinking cold it was! The only thing Amanda requested at the beginning of the season was that she would like to come to one of the earlier games of the season because she didn't want to be cold. When I asked her about CO she knew it would be freezing and she was all for it. On top of all that our siblings have become the biggest UTE fans and we love that. Thank you all for making the road trips, sitting in the cold, cheering at the games. And to Michele for volunteering to do all the scrapbooking. Thanks for everything you are great!

Thank you to our Grandparents
Grandpa Garrett is our biggest fan! It has been so fun to have him come to the games with us. He takes such good care of us and always makes sure before the game that I am well fed. He also always brings me a candy bar so that I can have a treat at half time. :) To our other grandparents thanks for watching the games on tv just to see that 30 second kick. We love you all so much!

Thank you to our Aunts and Uncles
Aunt Hil and Uncle Bryan-thanks for letting me come crash at your house for the weekend and taking such good care of me. I had a great time.
Uncle Ron and Aunt Toni-Thanks for watching the games on tv and then congratulating Joe on all the positives. It means so much to us!
Uncle Trent and Aunt Ashley-Thanks guys for coming to the freezing games and taking care of me while Joe is gone. (The sleepovers and shopping etc. )
Uncle John and Aunt Denece-Thanks for cheering on Joe and for taking care of Grandma so Grandpa could come to the games. You guys are awesome.

Thank you to our friends/cousins!
Thanks Ryan and Tera for taping the games for us, and supporting Joe. Thanks Kaleb and Lindsey for driving up to SLC to come to a game and to Lindsey for coming 9 months pregnant! Thanks to Chase and Daiana to coming to lots of games and cheering on Joe. Daiana also came pregnant. Thanks Colby for driving all the way from Logan to see the game. Thanks Reg and Jess for leaving your darling little baby to come up to the game. Thanks Mark and Jaleah for supporting Joe and coming to see us after the game. Thank you to the Browns for always cheering on Joe, coming to games, and being excited for all of his success!
Thank you to all those who last year supported Joe and drove all the way down to Ephraim to watch the Badgers!

Thank you to our text messagers!

After Joe made that kick to tie the game I got 15 messages within 30 seconds, soon after my inbox filled up and I had to delete messages. We have been so touched with all of those who have been supporting Joe at home. You guys are great!
Thank you to everyone I am sure there are many other people I have forgotten to thank. Thank you! We have been so blessed to have all of you in our lives.
THANK Ute to our great fans!
We'll see U at the Bowl Game.

Utah vs BYU

You can't get a game better than this. Both teams played their hearts out. Joe had a great game. And although it had a heartbreaking ending for the Utes it was still amazing to be a part of it all. This will make one heck of a memory.
Joe kicked 5 field goals, including one to tie the game and send it to overtime. I am so proud of him for going out and making all his dreams come true! Congratulations Babe--You DESERVE this. You have worked you rear end off for this and last Saturday it all paid off.

All cuddled up on our own little bench!

Thanksgiving

Since Joe had to practice Thanksgiving morning we decided to host a little dinner. We had Mom and Dad (Joe's Parents) and Patrick-one of the guys from the team and us. Patrick is from CA so we invited him to come eat with us knowing he wouldn't be able to go home. I made dinner all by myself-except for rolls and the gravy-compliments to Dad.
I enjoyed having a day completely off from school and work and just cooking. It was such a relaxing day for me. We had great company too!
Although, I didn't get to see my family it sure felt like I spent the day with them since I spent the whole morning on the phone with my mom, "How do I do this?" or "Is it supposed to look like this?" or "I cut three fingers and I'm bleeding!! What do I do?"
Yes I sacrificed the tips of three fingers...ooops!
I also made a birthday cake because Mom and Dad both have a birthday right after Thanksgiving. Their ages add up to 110--and Joe covered the cake with a 110 candles.
Either the food was decent or everyone was a good liar ;)

Blowing out the candles

Singing Happy Birthday

Joe and Patrick lighting all the candles.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

SDSU

This was the last home game of the season. Next time Joe plays at home he'll be a SENIOR. We had lots of family come for the game-thanks for the support everyone!

This picture was taken from the spot Joe kicked his field goal-a 47 yarder. I am really impressed with my husband.

The whole group.

It took a lot of effort to get Swoop's attention thanks to Jared we finally got him stopped long enough to take a picture before he was off again.
GO UTES!

TCU

Two weeks ago I flew out to Texas to go to the TCU game as well as visit my Aunt Hilary and Uncle Bryan. I got to see Uncle Bryan's fancy office and see where my mom grew up. I had a lot of fun despite the fact that the game did not have a happy ending.

The weather was so nice and the stadium was packed!

I got to watch my cousins play volleyball and soccer which was a total blast! They also let me play with their Wii.

Thanks Boyers for letting me come bother you and hang around all weekend. I had so much fun. Also, thanks Davis's for all the fun and memories.
